About the role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our production plant in Nidzica, Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for operational performance, people leadership, and continuous improvement, while helping shape the future development of the site as part of an international manufacturing group.

Key Responsibilities

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing production, quality, and logistics operations.
• Achieving operational and financial targets through effective performance management.
• Driving operational excellence through Lean manufacturing, automation, and digital transformation.
• Leading strategic business and operational development projects.
• Translating Group strategy into plant-level objectives and actions.
• Developing plant capabilities, capacity, and processes to support future growth.
• Building strong cross-functional collaboration and ensuring excellent service to internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Delivering sustainable improvements in productivity, quality, delivery performance, and overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring extensive experience in leading manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence. You will ideally have:

• A strong KPI and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use performance metrics to guide decision-making and improve results.
• Proven success in implementing Lean principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading and delivering cross-functional projects, such as ERP implementations, automation initiatives, and process development.
• Proven project management experience with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, production planning, and manufacturing processes.
• International business experience and excellent communication skills in Polish and English.
• A hands-on leadership style, with the ability to engage teams and solve operational challenges.
• A relevant higher education degree, for example in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field.
