KATKO and sailor Nooa Laukkanen have signed a 4-year sponsorship agreement

KATKO supports the Laser Standard Olympic class sailor Nooa Laukkanen to pursuit his goal to participate and position in the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

 

“Nooa has been successful in Youth European and World Championships. However, to enjoy success in the Olympic Games requires commitment and hard work. We have teamed up with Nooa, because we believe in and want to support the young athlete in his pursuit for greatness. Furthermore, we want to support sailing as it is an environmentally conscious sport.”

 

Laukkanen competes in single handed sailing class Laser Standard. The class was developed in the United States in the 1970’s and has been an Olympic class since 1996. Due to very strict class association rules and regulations, racing in the Laser-class is very competitive and requires great strategic and physical ability.

 

“I respect multigenerational entrepreneurship, and success requires resilience just like in sailing. I also share Katko’s vision of ecological future.” says Nooa Laukkanen.
